winner winner chicken dinner okay we now have the winner of that million dollar raffle lottery ticket in Crookston and the winner is not from Crookston it’s Deb Mayer of Prior Lake Minnesota this from the Minnesota lottery office when Deb Meyers husband goes deer hunting every year he always brings her back a Minnesota millionaire raffle ticket last year was no exception he picked up a raffle ticket at the super pumper in Crookston while mr. Meier didn’t come home with a buck in the traditional sense the prior late couple later found out the ticket he purchased during his hunting trip was worth 1 million bucks in the New Year’s Day drawing a January 1st Myers scanned the raffle ticket at a local convenience store and received the message that the prize must be claimed at a lottery office unsure of how much the ticket was worth he grabbed the paper to check the winning numbers when he got home he said I think we’ll go pay off our house this year we called Deb I thought what happened between here and Kwik Trip Deb claimed her prize at lottery headquarters in Roseville today pinch me I still can’t believe it’s real she said with a smile super pumper in Crookston earned a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket the other $1,000,000 winning raffle prize was claimed by Andy Gibbons of Ely on January 3rd I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV
