🦌 Two Motorcyclists Injured in Separate Deer Collisions on Friday Night

MANKATO, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Crashes with deer can happen in the blink of an eye, and late Friday night saw two such incidents involving motorcyclists.

At 9:39 p.m., 67-year-old Alfred Terrence Alex of Minneapolis was riding his Harley on Highway 68 in Blue Earth County when he struck a deer. Alex suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital in Mankato.

Then, within an hour at 10:38 p.m., 9-year-old Chase Sheppard James of North Mankato was riding his Harley on Highway 169 in Faribault County when he also struck a deer. James sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Blue Earth Hospital.
