Grand Forks, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Runnings, a retailer based in Marshall, Minnesota, has announced its acquisition of Grand Forks-based Home of Economy, which operates eight stores in North Dakota.
This strategic move will expand Runnings’ footprint to 90 locations, extending its reach across 12 states from New York to Montana.
The acquisition deal is expected to close in September. Initially, the stores will retain the Home of Economy name before eventually transitioning to the Runnings brand.
Runnings already operates a store in Moorhead, adding to its growing network of locations.
