Moorhead Man Faces Felony Charges After High-Speed Chase in Clay County
CLAY COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me)—Delano R. Miner of Moorhead is facing multiple charges after leading police on a dangerous pursuit that ended with stop sticks and an attempted foot escape.
According to court documents, the incident occurred on February 6, 2024, when Dilworth Police attempted to stop Miner’s vehicle for a burned-out light. Instead of pulling over, Miner fled the traffic stop, prompting a high-speed chase involving Moorhead Police and Clay County deputies.
Law enforcement deployed stop sticks, successfully flattening all the tires on Miner’s vehicle. Despite being immobilized, Miner tried to escape on foot, but officers quickly apprehended him.
Miner now faces the following charges in Clay County:
- Felony Fleeing a Peace Officer in a Motor Vehicle
- Misdemeanor Fleeing on Foot
