CASS COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Late Wednesday night, just before midnight, a man was injured in a shooting at the KFGO radio towers property, south of Fargo. According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at 11:41 p.m. when multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting victim in rural Cass County.
Initially, there was confusion regarding the victim’s exact location, but law enforcement eventually found him near County Road 81 and County Road 16 at the KFGO building. Immediate medical attention was provided at the scene, and the victim was airlifted to a local hospital by Sanford AirMed. He was conscious and alert before transportation, despite sustaining critical injuries.
The victim was able to give brief details about the incident, but his name and age have not been released. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, which they believe to be an isolated event between individuals familiar with each other, posing no threat to the general public.
