GLEN ULLIN, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – A fatal crash occurred northeast of Glen Ullin on Highway 49 early Thursday morning, just before 6 a.m.
According to the Highway Patrol, 43-year-old Tyler Feist was driving a car with passenger Christopher Noel, 42. Feist attempted to pass a semi in a no-passing zone and collided head-on with an SUV driven by Patricia Olaughin, 41, of Beulah.
Noel was pronounced dead at the scene. Feist was transported to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck by ambulance. Olaughin was flown to the same hospital by Sanford AirMed for treatment.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, including potential charges against Feist.
