WEST FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A cement truck rollover occurred on Interstate 94 in West Fargo, North Dakota. The driver, 49-year-old Cory Cook of West Fargo, suffered minor injuries. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the Kenworth cement truck was traveling eastbound on I-94, just west of the Cheyenne Street interchange, when it drove over a soft asphalt patch, causing the vehicle to lose control and overturn. The truck rolled onto its side, blocking the left lane of the interstate and spreading debris into both lanes of travel.
Cory Cook, who was wearing a seatbelt, was evaluated on the scene by Sanford Ambulance and did not require transportation to the hospital. Traffic was reduced to one lane for approximately two hours while the North Dakota Department of Transportation and a tow company cleared the scene and recovered the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
