🚨 BCA Investigates Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting in North Branch 🚨

NORTH BRANCH, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) is investigating an officer-involved shooting in North Branch that occurred Thursday night, resulting in the death of a woman. Police responded to a report of an intoxicated, suicidal woman armed with a handgun. Upon locating the woman, one officer discharged a non-lethal pepper ball while another officer fired their department-issued firearm, striking the woman. Despite the officers providing medical aid, the woman succumbed to her injuries. The entire incident was captured on the officer’s body-worn cameras. The officers involved have been placed on standard critical incident leave.
