POLK COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In a bizarre case in Polk County, Minnesota, 20-year-old Sophia Skoog of Graceville is facing felony theft and misdemeanor charges after a stolen John Deere tractor was found abandoned on Highway 2 near Crookston. The tractor, taken from the American Crystal sugar plant in East Grand Forks, was discovered on July 27th, still running in the middle of the road. Authorities also found a purse with Skoog’s ID at the scene. She was later apprehended walking in Crookston, where she admitted to leaving Douglas Place, a drug treatment center, earlier that day. Skoog tested positive for methamphetamine at the time of her arrest.
