MINNEAPOLIS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Minneapolis police are investigating a murder that occurred on Saturday night. Police Chief Brian O’Hara reported that officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Penn Avenue North following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found an adult male on the sidewalk with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Officers provided medical aid until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the victim’s identity and the official cause of death. Homicide investigators are working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
