FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo man is facing serious felony charges after allegedly attacking a woman with a knife and then threatening a responding officer. Police were dispatched to an apartment at 10:21 PM on Wednesday night following reports of a woman being threatened and barricading herself in a bedroom. Upon arrival, officers repeatedly knocked on the door, hearing the suspect, later identified as Troy Jacobson, shout, “What, do you want to get stabbed too?”
Jacobson eventually opened the door, brandishing a large knife. An officer drew his firearm, prompting Jacobson to drop the weapon. The female victim reported that Jacobson had made stabbing motions toward her stomach, and police noted a minor cut on her arm, which she declined to have treated. Jacobson claimed the woman owed him $200 for staying with him for ten days without payment.
Troy Jacobson is now charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and terrorizing.
