OTTER TAIL COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A rural home in Amor Township, Otter Tail County was completely destroyed in a massive fire on Thursday, January 30. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office received a distress call just before 4:30 p.m., reporting flames engulfing the residence west of Otter Tail Lake.
Firefighters from Ottertail and Battle Lake, along with the state fire marshal and Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, responded quickly to the scene. Officials believe the fire was caused by an electrical issue, and the home has been declared a total loss.
Thankfully, all residents managed to escape safely, avoiding injuries. The Red Cross has stepped in to provide assistance to those displaced by the fire.
